Perched up in the hills among the vineyards sits this colorful house.We spent a delightful week exploring the hilltop villages and discovering the most delicious wine and foods all thanks to our delightful host – Franco! Franco went out of his way to ensure we left loving the area. He told us about the best places to go for everything and we enjoyed some of the best italian food and wine thanks to his knowledge. He kindly took us mushroom hunting up in the misty mountains which was a lot of fun especially as we had a true mushroom feast that evening. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed playing with the dog and the two kittens that Franco had rescued. We are glad that we came to stay here. We arrived as strangers but left having made a good friend! We hope to return one day!
