Fom Cascina Ornati you look out over a hilly landscape with vineyards, hazelnut and fruit groves, which extends to the snow-covered Maritime Alps on the horizon. After a 15-minute walk you are in the center of Monforte d’Alba: small shops, a bank and a pharmacy, a swimming pool and numerous bars and restaurants await you there. The castle complex offers a wonderful view of the surroundings and hosts a small, fine jazz festival in summer. Hiking, cycling, motorcycle tours, horse riding, golfing, but above all the diverse culinary delights from the kitchen and cellar are just a few of the good reasons for a holiday in this region. Nearby cities such as Alba and Asti invite you to visit. Mountain hiking, rafting and winter sports are possible in the western Alps, about 45 km away.
